THREE Warrington based pubs are taking part in a shirt amnesty, asking people to donate unwanted football shirts to South Africa.
The Cherry Tree in Culcheth, The Hollow Tree in Stretton and the Red Lion in Penketh are collecting shirts, which will be sent out in time for this year’s World Cup.
The shirts will be given to disadvantaged children in Johannesburg and Cape Town as part of a charity campaign called ‘Project Fair Play’ which is being run by the pubs.
