STATHAM Lodge in Lymm is to hold an Irish evening to raise funds for Shannon Boam.
The event takes place next Sunday, March 21, at 7.30pm and includes a guest appearance from The Bogtrotters.
Shannon, from High Legh, was born with Peters plus syndrome, leaving her virtually blind and in order to get the surgery she needs £27,000.
The surgery, known as keratoprosthesis, would be performed in America.
If successful, it may give Shannon the opportunity to be able to read and write.
A previous graft proved to be unsuccessful, making this surgery all the more vital.
Tickets cost £7 and are available by calling Liz on 759398 or the Gallery Salon on 757111.
