MINI-chefs at a Lymm primary school have entered a unique competition.
Because the youngsters have designed a new children’s menu at the award-winning Church Green in the village.
Run by celebrity chef Aiden Byrne, children from the school will have their favourite foods featured on the menu.
And pupils Kathryn Morris McHarry, aged 10, Alex Longshaw, aged eight, Daisy Knowles, aged six and Robyn Lees will have designs featured on the back of the menu.
The restaurant has agreed to donate 5p out of every meal ordered to the school.
The menu features: Starters - £3.50 Bread sticks, carrot sticks, cucumber with hummus – Merriel Morris McHarry, aged seven
Tomato soup with a bowl of grated cheese – Lauren Broadley, aged six
Salmon fishcakes with lemon mayonnaise – Daisy Knowles, aged six
Prawn cocktail with Marie Rose sauce – Harrison Broadley, aged four
Mains - £6.00 Toad in the Hole with vegetables and onion gravy – Callum Gave, aged eight
Pasta bolognaise with grated cheese – Hamish Scott, aged five
Church Green fish & chips with mushy peas – Aiden’s choice Cottage pie and broccoli – James Scanlan, aged six
Desserts - £3.50 Rice pudding with strawberry jam – Eva Clarkson, aged four
Banana split with chocolate sauce and choice of two ice creams – Sam K, aged six
Homemade waffles with ice cream and chocolate sauce – Adam Jones, aged eight
Chocolate flapjacks with fruit yogurt – Kathryn Morris Mcharry aged 10 Drinks - £2.00
