THE Felicia Burns School of Dance, in Warrington, is hosting its annual show to raise funds for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
That’s Entertainment 2009 continues this weekend after two triumphant performances took place last week.
The show, which is in its 18th year, uses a wide variety of routines, from ballet to hip hop and dance school principal Felicia Parker said: “It’s an evening that’s packed with entertainment. There’s a lot of singing, dancing and acting. Anything that showcases the talents of those involved.
“The show takes a year to organise with rehearsals taking place between exams and competitions, so everyone works really hard.”
A total of 300 pupils, aged three and upwards, will take part in the shows.
Felicia added: “It’s gone really well so far and I hope the same goes for the next two performances.”
A grand prize draw will take place on closing night, on Saturday, with all proceeds going to the hospital.
If you are interested in joining the school, which meets at St Mary’s Church Hall, Great Sankey, call 01744 816178.
