THE Countess of Wessex came to Warrington today to officially open the new day care centre at St Rocco’s Hospice, Bewsey.

She was received by matron, Beth Eccles, hospital director, John Szostek, and the Mayor and Mayoress of Warrington, Clr Brian Axcell and Irena Axcell.

She then went on to Brainwave, at Birchwood, a charity that helps children with brain injuries and genetic conditions and of which she is the patron.
