Crowds out for free event at Queen's Gardens

A DAY of folklore, myths and legends attracted crowds to the annual Party at the Park at Queen’s Gardens.

TV presenter Mark Olly hosted the event which is free and family-friendly on Saturday.

As well as a smoke-breathing dragon there were arts and crafts stalls and workshops, music and food and drink.

And visitors were also given the chance to meet medieval knights.

Party at the Park is part of the Town Centre Festivals’ programme, and the fun continues this weekend with more free activities. Warrington Music Festival taking centre stage on Saturday and Warrington Youth Festival on Sunday.
