THE manager of Warrington’s Slimming World groups has been called an ‘inspiration’ by TV heartthrob John Barrowman.

Isobel Taylor met the actor best known as Captain Jack in Dr Who at Slimming World’s glitzy awards ceremony at the ICC in Birmingham last month.

John said: “Seeing people’s dreams come true is an incredible thing. Isobel is special because she is helping people to achieve their dreams every week.”

Slimming World’s annual awards ceremony recognises the achievements of successful slimmers throughout the country.

Isobel said: “The message I’m giving people is that with the support of like-minded people anything is possible.

“At Slimming World you can lose weight while enjoying ‘proper’ food like pasta, potatoes, fruit and vegetables, fish and lean meat, so you’ll never go hungry and we’ll be here to support you every step.”
