Gritter spills diesel on road after crash

Comments (0)A ROAD gritter flipped onto its side early this morning, spilling diesel onto the road.
Fire crews used grit from its load to stop the flow of diesel entering the sewers.
The driver escaped unharmed after the accident, at 5.55am on Fennel Street, Orford.
Two larger trucks managed to right the gritter and it was taken away.
