A HORSE was trapped in its horse box following a crash on the M6 yesterday.
Fire crews freed the horse after being called to the crash, which involved a saloon car and the horse box.
One fire engine from Birchwood, two from Warrington, the Operational Support Unit and one engine from Winsford raced to the M6 Southbound between Junction 22 (Winwick) and Junction 21a (Croft Interchange), at 1.21pm yesterday.
