A UNIQUE adaptation of Romeo and Juliet is coming to Warrington’s Pyramid and Parr Hall this month.
The story of the star-crossed lovers is one of the most famous tales in the world.
William Shakespeare’s play has been retold in countless ways since it first hit stages some 400 years ago – but never has it been given quite the same fun-filled, rock n roll presentation promised by Shakespeare 4 Kidz (S4K).
S4K is an award-winning British theatre company, which specialises in exciting adaptations of classic Shakespeare stories.
It blends the most famous bits of original text with modern language, music, song and dance to create magical plays which are easy to understand.
And adults who have been put off Shakespeare because they remember boring lessons at school will find S4K’s works shake up Shakespeare and tell the tales clearly and concisely.
You can see the performances on Tuesday, January 20, at 10.30am and 1.30pm.
Tickets, priced £15, are available from the box office on 442345.
