Motorway closed after collision

Comments (0)THE M56 has been closed in both directions at Lymm following a collision.
The vehicle hit the central reservation earlier today, leaving three lanes blocked on one side of the motorway.
The incident had also caused a major diesel spillage across the carrigeways.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said that they expect the road to remain closed for a further two hours.
