A FEMALE shop assistant was punched in the face by a teenager in the second attack on a Polish store in only four days.
The woman, who does not wish to be named, was hit on Friday afternoon by one of three teenage boys who entered the Orford Lane shop, called the Polski Sklep, and wreaked havoc.
The shop was also targeted last Tuesday by a group of teenagers, said owner Artur Gusciora, aged 29.
It has now been fitted with CCTV in an effort to stop it happening again.
“I have tried everything to keep this shop safe,” said Artur.
The police were alerted to the incidents, but Artur did not wish to press charges so all they can do is keep an eye on the property, a spokesman said.
