Polish shop is targeted twice in four days

A FEMALE shop assistant was punched in the face by a teenager in the second attack on a Polish store in only four days.

The woman, who does not wish to be named, was hit on Friday afternoon by one of three teenage boys who entered the Orford Lane shop, called the Polski Sklep, and wreaked havoc.

The shop was also targeted last Tuesday by a group of teenagers, said owner Artur Gusciora, aged 29.

It has now been fitted with CCTV in an effort to stop it happening again.

“I have tried everything to keep this shop safe,” said Artur.

The police were alerted to the incidents, but Artur did not wish to press charges so all they can do is keep an eye on the property, a spokesman said.

Totally irrelevant to the subject matter UKcerberus, or are you saying that it was carried out by a natural-born, white briton (presumably one who can trace his ancestry back to before the conquest - Roman or Norman), frustrated by unemployment if so you digust me in trying to find an excuse for violence.

What are you talking about UKcerberus!?
Artur Gusciora has taken nobody's job but would have created jobs for the staff he employs in the shop, which he would have established using his own money and for which he would be paying business rates to the council as well as taxes to the government.
Your xenophobic views are irrelevant to the reported article.

"The pay that these (hard working, I'm sure) people earn by and large is sent "home", and does not benefit local communities in the way that government spin has us believe." So the Tax that is paid by the employees is sent "home" too? If you mean that the workers are paid less for a job, therefore will work cheaper, than a UK resident then it is a job that wouldnt have benefitted the UK in the first place as clearly it contravenes employment laws. (based on a full time job)

"This may be the case for a small percentage of people, but most of us simply want a decent job, paying decent wages " Ahh so someone coming to the UK from Europe will deny you getting a 25-30k a year job because theyve taken a job in the service or factory based industries?

"If UK people were offered sufficient training and education instead of the waffle that we hear from the Westminster Club, then we would have no need to import foreign workers" People in the UK are offered training and education, Access courses for those out of work/on income support or returning to work who wish to follow academic routes. Learn Direct can be subsidised for those who need to learn a new skill.

Some people are happy not to strive for more which is fine, they are happy with what they have. Some people move abroad for opportunity and a new life, this is apparent all over the world, look at the migration flow of UK residents leaving the UK over the last 5 years.

Who are you to say people should stay where they were born and not follow the opportunities life raises?

I recall a woman, who had moved to Canada and was on a visit, on this forum who was going on about immigration to the UK.

She seemed incapable of seeing any irony in this

I am pleased to see that UKcerberus'
xenophobic post has been removed.

I have mixed feelings about that - sometimes such opinions need to be exposed for what they are.

I would suggest that cerberus looks up Kristallnacht to show what such views and the blaming of "the other" can lead to.

I would rather have decent hard working immigrants in Warrington, than the scroats that ransacked Artur's shop. Even if these foreigners send money home, at least they've paid tax on it first.
