Comments (0)DRUMMING their own beat were the older citizens of Warrington as they celebrated Older People’s Day.
The Mayor of Warrington, Clr Graham Welborn, and the Mayoress, Elaine Welborn, joined in the fun at a series of events at The Pyramid arts centre, organised by Widening Active Participation for Older People.
The day was aimed at people aged 50 or above and had a host of activities. These included art, salsa, creative writing and of course a drumming masterclass.
