A CARAVAN containing gas cylinders caught fire last night on Warrington Road.

Fire crews from Stockton Heath fire station rushed to the blaze at around 8pm.

The gas cylinders added an extra danger and led crews to request support from Warrington fire station.

Police blocked off the layby where the caravan was parked while the blaze was extinguished.

It is unclear whether the owners were in the caravan at the time of the blaze.

No suspected cause of the fire has been given.
