LYMM-based Brookfield Care Home is through to the semi-finals of a national gardening competition.
The home is through to the final stages of the Barchester In Bloom competition, in the Best Front Garden category.
The competition is designed to create imaginative and friendly gardens for residents of Barchester Healthcare care homes across Britain. Brookfield is one of 26 semi-finalists from 170 competitors.
The finals are to hosted by television personality Charlie Dimmock, known for her work on Ground Force, on October 1.
First prize in the competition is £1,000 to be spent on gardening equipment for the care home.
