COMMUNITY groups and organisations have until August 22 to apply for a slice of a £30,000 grant.

The money will be spent on good causes in the Biddulph and Caverswall areas.

Local county councillors Christina Jebb, Madelaine Lovatt and Bill Day have each been allocated £10,000 from the council’s Local Member Initiative Scheme to support community projects.

The suggested amount community groups should apply for is between £100 and £1,500.

Application forms are available from Councils Connect at Biddulph Town Hall or the “My county councillor” area of the county council’s website - www.staffordshire.gov.uk.
