A MAN who was behind the wheel of a Subaru Impreza when it hit a tree killing passenger Corrine Rutter has pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.
Matthew Stanton appeared at Warrington Crown Court today, Friday.
Miss Rutter, a 27-year-old mum of two, died of her injuries after the crash on Sankey Way January 14 this year.
Daughter Sophie, aged 12, said at the time on our website, warrington guardian.co.uk: "Mum, you will be greatly missed by everyone who knew you. Everyone is looking after each other. We've all had a little cry (and, in Nan's case, a big cry).
"We all miss you so so much. I love you so much and I always will, you're the greatest.
"Love you loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads AND LOADS LOADS MORE. Luv Sophie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx."
Corrine left daughters Kimberly, aged 11, and Sophie, mum Julie and dad Ian, grandparents Helen and Ernest as well as sisters Joannne, Sammy and Lisa, brother Ben and her nieces and nephews.
Two family members were in court to see Stanton, a 26-year-old from Chantler Avenue, Westy, plead guilty.
