M PEOPLE dance diva Heather Small has announced she is coming to the Warrington Parr Hall on Saturday, October 25.
The house music act from Manchester formed in 1990, and enjoyed massive success, winning a Mercury Music Prize and two BRIT awards for Best British Dance Act in 1994 and 1995 thanks to singles such as One Night in Heaven, Moving on Up, the Dennis Edwards’ cover Don't Look Any Further, Renaissance, Sight for Sore Eyes, Open your Heart and Search for the Hero.
Since the release of The Best of M People in 1998, the distinctive vocalist has been pursuing a solo career.
In 2000, Heather released her solo album Proud and a single of the same name, which became the theme to the successful London Olympic 2012 bid and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
A second solo album in 2006, Close To A Miracle, was a commercial disappointment, but she is now back to perform her collection of hits live once more.
Tickets, priced £22.50, are available from the Parr Hall box office on 442345.
