THERE were celebrations all round last night as Warrington Business Awards toasted the cream of the town's companies at the Park Royal Hotel, Stretton.
The top award - Business of the Year - went to Redelec Limited, based on Warrington Business Park.
Antony Grace, who established the company three years ago, said it was fantastic. "This is in recognition of all the hard work," he said.
The Business Person of the Year award went to Jonathan Walsh of Birchwood Park. Jonathan, who lives in Appleton, said he was delighted as he collected his trophy, designed by Priestley College students.
There were celebrations too for the Park Royal Hotel itself as it scooped the Training and Development award.
Other winners were: Creative Frenzy, winner of the Start-Up Business Award, Stockton Heath's Corks Out, which won the Retailer of the Year Award for the third year in a row; Croft Engineering Services, which was presented with the Customer Care Award, G & J Greenall scooped the International Business of the Year Award, MWH UK Ltd won the Social Responsibility and Environment Award, Healthy Audio, scooped the Innovation and Research Award and the Visitors' Choice Award, voted by readers of the Warrington Guardian, went to Shelly's Restaurant on Bold Street.
