Among the exciting festivities, Kaysie Wright began her reign and a procession followed from the parish hall field.
A lively Katumba band, a church choir and a Rosey and Jim float were among the excited crowds that paraded through the street.
After the parade a huge fun fair commenced with plenty of stalls, tasty food and fun rides for the whole family to enjoy.
Many residents of the community came out to watch the parade and enjoy the festvities.
