A power-packed performance from Halton under 15s saw them overcome a game Barrow side 32-0 at Widnes Recreation Club.

After finding their feet Halton kept good shape and played with flair.

They made the breakthrough on the back of strong running by Naughton and Costes.

With their pack on top Halton were able to quickly move the ball out wide to provide three tries for Hayes and Slavin, the latter scoring his second late on.

In a second half that belonged to the home side, two-try Naughton and front-row partner Costes were unstoppable.
