Murder charge man faces Crown Court trial

CARPENTER Edward Lawrence Richardson is due to appear at Stafford Crown Court this Friday, May 23, charged with his wife's murder.
The body of Sarah Richardson, aged 26, was found by police at her parents' home in Lyndhurst Drive, Biddulph, on Monday May 12.
Edward Richardson, aged 41, from Mayfield Road, Biddulph, was charged with his wife's murder two days later by Staffordshire Police, and appeared before magistrates at Fenton on Thursday.
The case was adjourned for trial to Stafford Crown Court, and Richardson was remanded in custody.
