Playing fields lottery boost

PLAYING fields in Biddulph are in line for a major makeover.
A hard surface games area is to be created at the playing fields off Church Road.
Youngsters will be able to play a variety of games on the new area, including five a side football and basketball.
The facility will be free to use.
Funding for the £35,000 games area has been secured from the Big Lottery Fund.
Staffordsshire Moorlands District Council will match fund the rest of the project costs and manage the area.
