ELWORTH top the division with a 100% record.
Murray Ranger's outfit made it four wins out of four with the South African pro once again pivotal.
Although cautious, visiting Checkley made a game of it with their total of 202-8 declared.
Gavin Carr was their mainstay, hitting an unbeaten 86 off 165 balls to give them a chance.
Ranger had taken 3-60 before coming in to save Elworth's day at number four.
With both openers gone for single figures, the hosts were in deep at 17-2 before the skipper joined Pete Davies (26) at the crease.
The duo took the score to 95 when it all hinged on Ranger to go on.
He did, hitting an unbeaten 106 while Ross Kesteven (21) helped take them over the line to a four-wicket win.
They travel to Leycett on Saturday.
