Crash on the motorway jams traffic

ONE lane has been blocked on the M62 following a smash earlier this morning.
Lane three of the westbound carriageway is closed after the collision between a car and 4x4 shortly after 8.30pm.
The accident happened close to the Birchwood junction and traffic is already heavy in the area.
