UPDATED: Better deal for fans

2:00pm Tuesday 13th May 2008

VICS fans will pay the same prices to watch their team next term.

The club have frozen admission rates for the third successive campaign, while hardcore supporters can make a saving on their season ticket over the next fortnight.

"We want more fans through the gate," said a club spokesman.

"To do that we aim to offer outstanding value at all levels with our top priority to attract more people to home matches."

A new family season ticket for two adults allows U12s to watch for free.

The same rule applies on match day when they accompany a paying adult.

"Most prices are well below last season's," added the spokesman.

"All profits from ticket sales go straight to club funds and will supplement revenue over the summer."

Those choosing to pay on the gate will fork out £14 to sit and £12 to stand - the same rates as the 23 Blue Square Premier home matches played this season.

The deadline for discounts on season tickets is Tuesday, May 20.

Concessionary rates for senior citizens were finally agreed this week.

O65s will get a 10 per cent discount on adult prices if they buy before next Tuesday.

Executive club tickets, including a seat in the bar and the main stand plus buffet lunch and parking space, are on sale already.

Fans can buy their tickets at the club shop, open Monday to Saturday between 10am and 2pm, or by calling 01606 44127.
