James Stancliffe kept his fine form going by scoring two tries, having to crash though the Culcheth line on both occasions.
Both Luke and James were named as the players of the match.
The Bears' hard-working trio of Ellis Lewis, Thomas Stubbs and Matthew Walker each earned the top tackler award with some excellent defensive work which played a large part in keeping Culcheth down to three tries.
They also scored a try apiece to add to the Bears tally.
The coach's award was shared between Andrew Barrigan, Sam Macfarlane and Stuart Talbot.
Sam scored a try when he supported a Luke Cairns break.
Andrew and Stuart did everything but score and should take a lot of pride from their hard work and effort.
Taking into account the conditions, the fact there were players missing and also for the first time the team were on the pitch on their own, it was a great performance.
