RYLANDS Sharks under 15s remain in the hunt for promotion to the North West Counties Amateur Rugby League Premier Division.
They are currently third in the table with games in hand on second-placed Latchford Albion, who they still have to face twice.
Rylands' clash with Crosfields at Gorsey Lane on Sunday was abandoned with the two teams tied at 6-6 just before half time.
Coach Mark Williams said the game had to be stopped after a neck injury to Rylands' Lewis Walsh resulted in a 70-minute wait for an ambulance.
Williams added: "Lewis is okay, he has a whiplash injury and was back home on Sunday night. But you can't be too careful with injuries like that." The match ended just before half time and will have to be replayed.
Robert Campbell scored Rylands' try, with Sean Williams adding a conversion.
