BOSSES at a Cheadle Hulme firm pleaded guilty to seven offences of fly-posting at Stockport Magistrates' Court.
Ultimate Kitchen Furniture, based in Earl Road at Stanley Green Trading Estate, was prosecuted for fly-posting at the roundabout on the A34 and on Stanley Road in January and February.
The company was fined £300 for each offence totalling £2,100 and ordered to pay additional court costs of £455.76.
Cheadle Hulme councillor and executive member for the environment, Stuart Bodsworth, told Community News: "This successful prosecution sends out a clear message to other companies that fly-posting will not be tolerated. in We hope this prosecution will deter other companies from do so."
Fly-posting can be reported to the town hall's by Environmental Services team on 0845 833 4444.
