FIREFIGHTERS were called to reports of an uncontrolled bonfire near Birchwood Way and a lorry on fire on Dam Lane last night, Wednesday.
At around 8.45pm a crew from Stockton Heath Fire Station arrived at the scene of a bonfire in woodland off Birchwood Way.
A hose reel jet was used to put out the flames.
Later, at around 10.50pm, firefighters from Birchwood Fire Station were called to Dam Lane where they discovered a lorry on fire on a patch of unused land.
The flames were extinguished using a hose reel jet and luckily nobody was reported hurt at either incident.
