A 38-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a fatal crash in Whitley.
Cheshire Police is appealing for witnesses following the incident on Limes Lane at 7.26pm last night, Wednesday, in which a Volkswagen Scirocco and a Kawasaki motorbike crashed.
Sadly, Raf Khan, the rider of the motorbike, died at the scene.
The 47-year-old, from Winsford, owned Warrington Service Centre – it has been closed for the foreseeable future following the death.
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 38-year-old man, from Tarporley, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 842 of April 19.
