IT'S nearly time...

You've put the hours in, selected your running gear and now all you can think about is pulling on your trainers - it must be London Marathon week.

Thousands of runners will be heading to the capital on Sunday for one of the world's most famous races.

But here's some of the runners from our area that we will be keeping our eyes peeled for on TV.

What is your response? This is my husband Richard Rooke. After 7 applications he was chuffed to get a place through the ballet. It's too on his bucket list to and just celebrated a big birthday it's perfect timing! With dodgy knees and runners ankle, it will take all his strength to finish this race. Raising over £400 to his chosen charity MIND, will spur him on! Go Rik! We know you're gonna smash it!!!
