Field off Westbrook Avenue 'deliberately' set on fire
A FIELD off Westbrook Crescent was in flames last night, Monday.
Firefighters from Warrington Fire Station were called to the scene at around 6.45pm.
The crew used a water backpack and fire beaters to put out the flames and believe the land was deliberately set alight.
Luckily nobody was reported to be hurt.
Firefighters are urging anyone with information to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or Cheshire Police on 101.
