WARRINGTON’S Got Talent is back and we’re on the lookout for the town’s top performers.

We have teamed up with Mayor of Warrington Cllr Faisal Rashid and the council to launch a search for the most gifted individuals.

The competition is open to anyone of any age with any talent – from fire eaters to acrobats, dancers to divas, and from impressionists to animal acts.

Up for grabs is a place in the final at the Parr Hall on Friday, February 24 – and the chance to perform in front of the mayor and team of judges.

All the shortlisted acts will take part in the grand finale show, with 50 per cent of the vote awarded by the audience and 50 per cent carried by the judging panel.

Cllr Rashid said: “Warrington has so many talented people and this is the perfect opportunity to showcase, far and wide, everything we have to offer.

“We are on the lookout for incredible, inspiring and entertaining acts. If you’ve got a talent that you think will wow the judges, then we want to see it.”

Stage Pro Academy street dance crew Evolve, who have just competed in the UDO World Dance Championships in Glasgow, gave a special performance to launch the competition at the Town Hall on Tuesday.

Warrington Guardian editor Hayley Smith said: “Knowing how much talent there is in the town we are delighted to be supporting this event and look forward to seeing some of your fantastic entries.”
