Seized motorbikes to be crushed

Comments (4)TEENAGERS enjoyed a costly ride on the Bromley Farm estate in Congleton last night, Tuesday.
Local police officers stopped two teenagers riding small off-road motorbikes in Bromley Road at 8.45pm.
The youths were local to the area, and both bikes were seized because the teenagers were riding on a public highway with no insurance or driving licences.
PC Paul Heatley said as the bikes were off-road vehicles they would be crushed as no insurance could be obtained for them.
"Congleton residents can rest assured we will continue to target any illegal or anti-social riding of motorbikes in the area, and prosecute offenders and seize vehicles," he said.

These bikes were being used on a public road, untaxed, unmot'd, unlicenced. Quite frankly, having them crushed - the culprits have got off lightly.
If you or your mates want to use your off-road bikes, go and find somewhere suitable - and LEGAL to do so.

These bikes were being used on a public road, untaxed, unmot'd, unlicenced. Quite frankly, having them crushed - the culprits have got off lightly.
