RESIDENTS are being reminded over changes to opening times at the town's three recycling centres.
The new operating hours came into force on March 1.
Gatewarth recycling centre will be open from 8am to 6pm seven days a week, Woolston will be open from 10am to 4pm on weekdays and 8am to 6pm on weekends and bank holidays, while Stockton Heath centre will be open from 10am to 4pm on weekdays, 8am to 6pm on weekends and bank holidays, until September, and 8am to 4pm from October to March.
Each of the sites will be open every day of the year, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Cllr Judith Guthrie, executive board member for environment and public protection, said: "The hours of operation have changed to ensure the centres are cost-effective but we encourage residents to continue to make best use of the sites as well as their kerbside recycling service."
