BRAVE employees from a Birchwood business have raised £10,000 for St Rocco’s Hospice after taking on a year of fundraising challenges.

The team from Claremont office design have completed a ‘tough mudder’, a Starlight Walk and even a naked Christmas calendar featuring 12 of the company’s male employees.

The company held coffee mornings, raffles, dressing up days and cake sales as part of the fundraising drive.

Sara Turner from Claremont said: “There’s a real sense of community within Claremont and we love being able to put that to good use and for the benefit of others.

“Our team really pulled out all the stops for St Rocco’s and we had great fun in the process too”.

Claremont staff were keen to support a Warrington-based charity and chose St Rocco’s because of the highly specialised care the hospice provides to people with life-limiting illnesses.

Claire Houghton, Income Generation Lead at St Rocco’s Hospice, said: “Claremont have been just wonderful from the outset.

“They have such energy and enthusiasm and have been truly creative in their fundraising efforts. We really can’t thank them enough!”
