THE family of missing teenager Jade Lynch have issued a heartfelt plea for her return.
Her eldest sister Stephanie Lynch has spoken out in the hope she can reach Jade or anyone who may know of her whereabouts.
The 22-year-old, who spoke to Jade the day before she went missing, said: “We want her safe and want to know that she is okay.
“We love her so much and we know things are difficult but we need to know she's okay.”
Jade’s grandmother Shirley Grimshaw has also called for Jade to get in touch with either a family member, friend or the police.
The family have also released a more recent picture of Jade, who is originally from Warrington but now lives in St Helens.
Officers from Cheshire Police are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.
Jade was last seen at an address on Dentons Green Lane in St Helens on Saturday, March 26, and has now been missing for over a week.
Jade is described as white, approximately 5ft 6 inches, of medium build, with long straight black hair.
At the time she was last seen she was wearing a black hoodie with black trousers and white Nike trainers.
Inspector John Forshaw said: “I would like to appeal directly to Jade to contact us to let us know you are okay.
“I would urge anyone who sees a teenager fitting Jade’s description to contact police on 101.”
Anyone within any information in relation to the whereabouts of Jade is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 257 of March 29 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
