SIX homes had to be evacuated from in Great Sankey following a house fire on Tuesday.
Firefighters from Warrington, Stockton Heath, Birchwood and Widnes were called to the blaze in the mid terrace home on Shiggins Close around 8.50pm.
The row of six houses was evacuated while firefighters tackled the flames.
They also removed tiles from the house to stop it from spreading to properties nearby.
Emergency services say nobody was injured. A fire investigation will begin once the area is made safe.
