FIVE missing chihuahuas, including a Crufts champion, have been reunited with their owner after they were found by a jogger in Culcheth.
A Facebook campaign had been launched to find the dogs, including 'Best puppy in breed' winner Xena, after intruders took them from a home in East Yorkshire last Thursday.
A Humberside Police spokesman said a 30-year-old man found the abandoned group running down a farm track on Friday evening in Culcheth.
He added: "He took them to his home address, as they all looked dishevelled and in need of food and water.
"Luckily a visiting friend informed the man of our Facebook appeal following Thursday’s burglary and he contacted the police right away.
"Please pass on our huge thank you to all those who shared this post."
Police confirmed the burglary investigation will continue.
Do you know the jogger who found the pups?
