A PROPOSED three day strike by Network Warrington staff has been called off.

Earlier today Network Warrington announced that an ongoing dispute over pay with staff had been resolved meaning the planned three day strike from Wednesday to Friday has been called off.

The industrial action first started by Unite union members after staff were told they would not get a pay rise.

Bus drivers and support staff walked out in a series of one day stoppages in September and October as talks between the two stalled.

But the latest discussions appear to have been successful.
