Will wins citizenship award

A MULTI-TALENTED teenager who has been an ambassador for his high school has been named Warrington's Young Citizen of the Year.

Will Judge, of Kings Meadow, Norton Cross, was declared winner of the Mayor of Warrington's scheme that rewards the positive work of young people.

The kind-hearted young citizen was rewarded for his efforts this year were invited with their families to an exclusive presentation ceremony and buffet with Mayor Clr Celia Jordan and her consort Roy Jefferson at Warrington Town Hall.

Clr Jordan spoke of the children's good work and said the bad press applies only to a small minority of the community.

Will, aged 15, said: "I don't know what made me stand out. I think it's great to see other people and what they have been doing - it's fantastic."
