FAMOUS faces from the world of sport, film and music teed off for a special tournament at Vale Royal Abbey Golf club.

The club hosted its second special celebrity golf tournament following the success of last year's event.

Stars included Hollywood actor Bruce Greenwood, who starred in I Robot, Capote and Racing Stripes, Don Felder, former guitarist with the Eagles and ex Manchester United player Willy Morgan.

Nils Elrin, spokesman for Vale Royal Abbey golf club, said: "Our course is the jewel in Cheshire's golfing crown and we wanted to give it the star treatment yet again."

The event took place on Friday September 7 and involved the celebrities and the members of the gold club.
