WINNERS of Warrington Sports Personality of 2006 awards were revealed tonight, Friday, at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Athlete John Nicholls walked away with two titles while there were also successes for Warrington Wolves skipper Lee Briers, Imagine8 netball team, Warrington Rowing Club and Warrington Town Football Club stalwart Eric Shaw.
Shot-putter Nicholls was crowned Warrington Sports Personality of 2006 and also lifted the inaugural win of the year award.
Briers triumphed in the Wolves player of 2006 category with Imagine8 winning the team of the year award.
Warrington Rowing Club came out on top in the club of the year contest while the unsung hero award went to Eric Shaw.
