SO The Stare beat The Teeth in the final of The Apprentice (BBC1, Sunday), while another set of pearly gnashers was the lasting impression from the launch night of Big Brother (Channel 4, Thursday).
Yasmina was always favourite to land the apprentice job with Sir Alan - would you want to mess with anyone who could fix you with a look like that?
Kate may have had the capacity to bore him to death with that monotonous voice, but Yasmina had the killer stare.
The big news, of course, was that Margaret will not be flexing those eyebrows in the next series. What will Nick do without her? Following her hilarious performance in the post final show, perhaps Ruby Wax could replace her - it would certainly shake up the tasks part of the competition.
Meanwhile, over at the Big Brother house, Brazilian Rodrigo arrived like a multi-coloured children's cartoon character, all teeth and smiles. That won't last long, once the tedium of living with a bunch of sad fame junkies takes over - but he still looks the most likely to succeed, if anyone is still interested in watching this right through to the final.
Something well worth watching was the appearance of the enigmatic footballing icon Eric Cantona on Friday's Jonathan Ross show (BBC1).
I am sure I was not the only viewer waiting for those French feet to fly over the desk, if Ross made an inappropriate remark. Alas, the cheeky chappie behaved himself for once, so that treat went begging!
