A GROUP of performers is appealing for residents to sign up for roles in its latest production.

The Mid Cheshire Musical Theatre Company, formerly known as the Mid Cheshire Amateur Operatic Society, will hold open auditions for Titanic the musical, on Sunday, at Wallerscote Primary School, in Weaverham, starting at 10am.

Male singers and performers would be particularly welcome.

The exciting and ambitious production is set to be played out on stage at The Grange School Theatre, in Hartford, from November 14.

Show organisers advise that anyone interested in audtionning should be available for the entirety of that week, as well as for rehearsals in Weaverham on Wednesday and the occasional Sunday. To join the cast, individuals are also required to become a member of the theatre company.
