'MIRROR, Mirror, on the wall… where can i find the fairest panto of them all?'

Knutsfordians may be asking themselves that question this month - but the answer can be found on their doorstep.

At Knutsford Little Theatre this January, Sally Bennett expertly directs the hugely popular family pantomime ‘Snow White’ written by Ben Crocker.

Armed with an arsenal of witty dialogue, catchy panto tunes (courtesy of resident composer – and evil henchman – Mike Wilding), impressive costuming, and handcrafted props, this stellar cast effortlessly create an evening of magic, fun, and laughter for the whole family.

Michelle Anderson excels in the eponymous role of the kind-hearted Snow White, finding love in the arms of Charlotte Ashworth’s Prince Fredrick.

Bob Jennings has the audience in the palm of his hand as he rocks the frock once more as the classic panto dame, aided by Ben Evans-Clarke as the charming, ‘boy-next-door-style’ Danny Dumpling.

Overseen by ‘fairy-in-training’ Jill Brown, watch as our heroes face off against Sarah Lorenz’s deliciously evil Queen Belladonna and her oily right hand man Blackwing.

The heinous nature of Belladonna’s plan is offset with well-delivered, and beautifully timed, comic relief courtesy of Sean Duvall and Ian Graham in the comedy duo roles of Bogwort and Stinkwort.

The chemistry between the cast only enhances the audience experience, with the cast members bouncing off each other, gaining momentum throughout, resulting in a tour de force of a sharply ad-libbed, beautifully told fairytale that the whole family (yes, even Dad) will find themselves falling in love with.

The panto runs from January 21 to 23 and January 28 to 30, with the reasonably-priced bar open from 6.30pm, ready for a 7pm start. January 23 and 30 matinees at 2pm. January 24 matinees at 11.30am and 3.30pm.

Tickets are £10 and available via knutsfordlittletheatre.com or by calling 01565 633000.
