IF you are looking for something to help you relax pre and post Christmas, then take your pick from the pantomimes on in the region.
The Manchester Opera House has pulled in a top cast for Snow White, including former Corrie stars John Savident (Fred Elliot) and Suranne Jones (Karen McDonald), Phoenix Nights star Justin Moorhouse and Warwick Davis from Harry Potter.
Meanwhile, another Corrie star will be putting his evil acting skills to good use in The Lowry's Aladdin. Bill Ward (Charlie Stubbs) will be starring in the production as Abanazer.
The Liverpool Empire takes a different look at the festive show with Santa Claus The Musical. Starring Roy Barraclough and Corrie's Susie Blake (Bev Unwin) the show tells the tale of a child's Christmas wish coming true.
And the Parr Hall will be staging Aladdin as its post Christmas pantomime.
All shows run until Sunday, January 7, except for the Parr Hall performance, which will run over two weekends from Friday, January 5, until Sunday, January 14.
