OPEN auditions are being held in
Birchwood for Legally Blonde: The
Musical.
Plastersine Performing Arts Company are inviting all budding thespians, between 10 and 23, to try out for a part at Birchwood High School on Saturday, January 28.
If you are successful you will join the team in preparation for the production at The Atkinson in Southport later this year between August 31 and September 2.
Legally Blonde is the story of homecoming queen Elle Woods who puts down the credit card, hits the books and heads for Harvard Law when her boyfriend dumps her.
Based on the Reese Witherspoon film, the musical earned seven Tony nominations during its Broadway run.
Plastersine have previously presented Grease, Les Misérables and Seussical, the musical based on the books of Dr Seuss.
Charlotte Gelhardt, a long-running member of the group, said: “Each show has gotten bigger and better. From performing in schools to now be performing in a professional and acclaimed theatre, just goes to show how far the company has come over the past three years.”
